I died and learned what consciousness truly is - NDE

The Story
Anke experienced a near-death event in September 2009. After jogging, she caught fire while lighting a fireplace. Her synthetic clothes burned rapidly, and she realized she was dying but felt no fear or pain. She accepted death peacefully. During the NDE, Anke left her body and watched as an observer. She saw her son extinguish the flames and paramedics arrive. In the hospital, she observed her bandaged body in the ICU but felt confused because no one noticed her. A light figure appeared and assured her she was not dead. The figure led her on a journey, teaching her about consciousness, soul connections, the body's role, and unconditional love. She learned time does not exist and everything happens simultaneously. She visited her body several times and explored its sensations. The teacher asked if she wanted to return. Anke chose to go back, merging with her body in gratitude. After the NDE, Anke's life transformed. She gained a dual perspective, fully present in her body yet connected to her soul. All fears vanished, including fear of death. She shifted her focus to unconditional acceptance of herself and her world, living without pressure or searching.
“A love for ALL THAT IS, a love that knows absolutely no differences and above all, a It is EVERYWHERE PRESENT... in every grain of sand, in every cell, in every thought...”
The account describes an OBE with specific observations of rescue and medical procedures from an impossible vantage point during a severe burn-induced coma, providing moderate perceptual claims. However, the evidential strength is limited by complete absence of verification attempts, no confirmed accurate perceptions, low unpredictability of events, and reporting eight years later without prior documentation.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Was this Evidence Strength score useful?
Was this Experience Depth score useful?
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Was this Life Impact score useful?
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
