The Story
Renu Aurora, a British Asian artist and performer, had a near-death experience in March 2017. She was hit by a bus and dragged under its wheel while recovering from glandular fever. During the NDE, Renu floated out of her body and saw herself under the bus. She rose higher, feeling light and peaceful, surrounded by shards of loving light. She became one with everything, with no separation. Her heart was removed, polished clean, filled with love and purity, and returned. A deep voice from above said, 'Love is all there is' and urged her to 'give love.' She was pulled back into her body by a man's scream. After the NDE, Renu transformed her life. She now creates art that honors her new identity, including a podcast called The Burgundy Book about her experience. She connects nightly with her deceased twin brother through automatic writing. She chooses magical roles, sees synchronicity as magic, and lives with more love and less striving.
