Joanna Dráus had two near-death experiences (NDEs) when she was 17. The first NDE occurred after she attempted suicide due to heartbreak. She took a large number of pills and entered a dark state where she heard loud music. Her mother found her and took her to the hospital, where she spent days unconscious. During this time, she felt a shift and woke up with a new understanding of life, realizing her life was valuable. The second NDE happened months later when she had an allergic reaction to a vitamin pill. She lost consciousness but saw a beautiful light before waking up in the hospital.
