The Story
A man in Sydney, Australia, experienced a near-death event during heart surgery. He had become very sick with chest pain and was diagnosed with a large aneurysm in his heart. Doctors stopped his heart and brain during the five-and-a-half-hour operation to remove the aneurysm and replace a valve. During the surgery, he left his body and saw the room glowing white with no walls or ceiling. He had telepathic conversations with unseen people while viewing his body on the hospital bed. Three angels in blue cloaks entered, startling him. His deceased father and best friend appeared young at the bed's end. His friend telepathically said everything would be okay. He rose above his body and watched two angels work quickly at his stomach. A tall angel inserted a silver and chrome device into his heart, then said they could close him up. After waking, his wife explained it was a near-death experience. He felt constant warmth and energy. Colors appeared brighter, and he developed healing hands that eased his wife's neck pain. He questioned societal wrongs more and strengthened his faith in Jesus, wearing a cross daily and believing in God's loving energy and spirit family.

The account features high medical severity during flatlined open-heart surgery and moderately specific, unpredictable details like a unique 'silver and chrome square with a 20 mil circle' tool in the heart and deceased relatives appearing together despite never meeting. However, no verification or confirmation of any perceptions severely limits evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
