The Story
Feliz De Martino, a mother and former Montessori educator, had a near-death experience on December 2, 2015, after a pickup truck hit her at 30 miles per hour in a crosswalk. She suffered multiple fractures, internal bleeding, a cracked skull, and traumatic brain injury, with her heart stopping for 45 minutes. During the NDE, she left her body and viewed the accident scene from above. She lifted higher into an illuminated blackness, feeling pure beingness. She floated in a cocoon-like space and met a light presence that shared life review, soul lessons on forgiveness, compassion, and 'all is well.' The presence urged her to return and 'live big,' revealing itself as her higher self. She descended back, observing the ambulance and hospital. After the NDE, Feliz underwent intensive rehab to relearn walking and talking. She experienced an identity reboot, gaining deeper compassion, better boundaries, and a commitment to authentic living and service, which strengthened her relationships with her daughters.
