The Story
Red Mois, a man from Haiti living in the US, had a near-death experience on January 10, 2014, while sleeping alone in his apartment. He suddenly entered a dark tunnel with other people in a van, heading toward a bright light. He heard his mother's voice saying they were dead, and his body shut down. Out of his body, he examined his closet and felt sadness over material possessions like clothes and jewelry, realizing they could not bring him back to life. He moved to his living room and felt deep regret over unread books and lost knowledge. Then, he stood on a stage viewing Earth from afar. A voice instructed him to bow and say goodbye, explaining Earth is like a play where he was an actor. Curtains closed, and he entered a realm of intense love, joy, and pure energy. He felt expansive, holding the universe, and learned life principles without fear or hate. He walked to a magnificent gate with soothing music but hesitated, knowing crossing it meant no return. Thinking of his fiancée finding his body and his unfulfilled life, he chose to return. He was pushed back into his body, gasped for air, and woke up at 5:30 AM. After the NDE, Red valued knowledge and relationships over material things. He focused on love, compassion, and seeing God in others. He lost fear of death, welcomed the experience, and later wrote a book sharing NDE stories to help others find truth and balance.
