The Story
David Oakford was 19 years old when a drug overdose from snorting PCP mixed with rat poison caused his near-death experience in 1979. He left his body and saw his neighborhood as friends drove him around, but he could not interact with them. He returned to his body in a chair, heard loud music, and panicked when he could not touch objects. He prayed for help, and a light being named Bob appeared to guide him. Bob took him to ancient Egypt, where David saw his past life and learned about time and reincarnation. They flew over Earth, observing energy vortexes, auras, and stuck souls. From space, David viewed Earth's aura and learned its name is Gaia. He visited a star, encountered Jesus who urged people to love one another, and saw planets' energies. In a spirit city, he met souls and underwent a life review with a council, reliving his birth, past actions, and life patterns linked to Egypt. The council offered him a choice to stay or return; he chose to return after seeing how his absence would affect others' lives. He dove into a river to forget distracting memories and reentered his body. After the NDE, David gained deep insights into souls, energy, the universe, and his purpose, leading him to write a book about his journey.

This NDE lacks any veridical perception claims of impossible-to-know physical details, relying instead on internal visions, OBEs with potential sensory access, and common spiritual motifs from a drug overdose without clinical death. No attempts at verification or corroborated specifics are mentioned, severely limiting evidential strength. Reported 40 years later with no timing of initial account.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
