The Story
Marie Bates Curry experienced two near-death experiences from drowning. In her first NDE as a child, she drowned in water. She hovered above the water and moved toward a house where old people sat around a table. She asked for kids to play with, and a man suggested trying the graveyards. She then went the other way toward Marietta seeking children. A female voice told her not to go yet and that she might return if found soon. She heard other voices giving her knowledge. After reviving, she saw an angel as a white light shaped like a woman. In her second NDE, she saw a panel of five or six people in bright white light, standing shoulder to shoulder with a second row lower and one figure centered in front, which she believed was God. After these NDEs, Marie became more open to spiritual experiences. She reports ongoing connections to spirits and angels who protect and guide her.
