40 Firefighters Died and Shared the Same NDE
What Researchers Found
The Story
John Hernandez was a firefighter who experienced a near-death experience (NDE) during a forest fire in 1989. The fire changed direction, trapping him and his crew. John thought he was going to die and then found himself looking down at his body. He felt peaceful and saw a bright light. In the light, he met deceased relatives, including his great-grandfather, who told him he could choose to return to Earth. John reluctantly chose to return. After the experience, he felt pain and discomfort in his physical body. He later shared his story with his crew, who also had NDEs. John's experience transformed him, making him appreciate life more and live it to the fullest.
“A bright light then appeared. John described the bright light in this manner: "The light—the fantastic light! It was brighter than the brightest light I had”
