The Story
Bob Leo was a scholarly mathematician who had a near-death experience in February 1969. The trigger was a car accident. He stopped his car to avoid hitting a boy crossing the road. Another car hit him from behind. During the crash, time slowed down with no noise. He left his body and floated above the car. He saw his body moving in the seat. A life review showed snapshots of his life, like baptism, awards, and graduations. He telepathically spoke to a higher source. He said he was too young to die after years in school. The source told him to return but change his life to serve others, not just focus on himself. He re-entered his body in pain. After the NDE, he suffered back injuries needing surgery. He left the Catholic Church for spiritual groups like dowsing and mediumship. He networked free events for holistic communities. He quit corporate work for therapeutic recreation in nursing homes. He discovered healing powers through Reiki and messages from mediums. In 2007, a second NDE from internal bleeding brought a feeling of love and quick recovery.

The account describes out-of-body experiences during a car crash and hospital stay, but lacks any specific, verifiable perceptions of external events or details impossible to know normally. No verification attempts or confirmations are mentioned, limiting evidential strength to basic OBE self-observation.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
