The Story
Andy Petro was a high school senior in 1955 when he nearly drowned during a class picnic swim in a Michigan lake. He cramped up while swimming to a floating platform, sank to the bottom, and got stuck in weeds and mud. A voice in his head told him to relax, and he popped out of his body. He entered a tunnel toward a bright light and saw his body below. He felt unconditional love and no attachment to his earthly life. In a sphere, he reviewed his past and future lives on screens, reliving events and understanding others' thoughts. The light greeted him by name, said it loved him, and welcomed him home. He merged with the light, experienced unity, traveled universes instantly, and felt constant excitement. The light sent him back three times, and he reentered his body on the beach as classmates revived him. Afterward, Andy lied about not remembering the event.
