From Surviving to Living | Mariana Fütterer's Near Death Experiences

The Story
Ms. Fütterer, a 30-year-old woman with a chronic illness starting at age 14, experienced two near-death experiences in July 2016. The trigger was severe physical deterioration from bone problems, food intolerances, and a recent femoral neck fracture after a dog attack. She attempted suicide by starvation due to despair and pain. In the first NDE, she floated out of her body while fading, saw herself held by her friend and mother, met her deceased grandmother who urged her to return, and decided to live. In the second NDE two days later, she felt pulled into blackness, like being tugged through a window against her will to stay. After the NDEs, she fought to survive, regained weight through self-initiated nutrition, reduced medications from 78 to 11, felt a stronger body-soul connection, and gained insights into inner beauty and reflection. However, she now faces panic attacks and learns to process emotions and live fully.
“I was afraid of closing my eyes, too, because I thought I would never open them again. Eventually my eyes closed anyways and then I had my second near-death”
The account features a severe medical crisis with extreme physical compromise and a classic out-of-body perception of family members during the NDE, providing moderate evidential potential. However, the lack of any verification attempts, confirmed details, or timely pre-verification reporting significantly limits its strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
