The Story
Kim Thompson, an artist and spiritual seeker, had three out-of-body experiences. The first occurred at age 18 during a college party with alcohol and marijuana. She left her body and encountered a terrifying, huge, ugly being in a white space, felt intense fear, prayed for help, and returned. Two years later, while sober and studying in college, she suddenly left her body, experienced falling to her death in darkness, begged not to feel pain, then entered a golden light of pure bliss, peace, and love, and returned confused about being back. Recently, while asleep after work and grieving her dog's death, she awoke out of body, gently fell into a dark ocean, was pulled down by a blissful force toward a blue light, acknowledged dying with joy saying 'hi father,' and returned. These experiences deepened her spirituality, leading to meditation practice, kundalini awakenings, and a balanced life focused on inner peace, presence, and spreading kindness.
