The Story
Dr. Santosh, a university professor in India, had his near-death experience 12 years ago. He was traveling by train from Arno to Kano, a 300-kilometer journey. Two-thirds into the trip, the train window shutter fell on his elbow due to a broken spring, causing severe pain and a small bleeding wound. Passengers tied the wound and gave him water. After sipping water, he lost consciousness. His consciousness left his body and entered a grayish dark tunnel. He then saw a bright horizon with pleasant light and moved to a snow-like white realm where he had no body but increased perception. Next, he went to a high range resembling gods. Finally, he reached a vast field of yellowish flowers under orange sunset-like light. He realized he had died, panicked, and thought of his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and family. This brought his consciousness back to his body. Passengers had thought he suffered cardiac arrest and tried to revive him for three to four minutes. After returning, Dr. Santosh felt fine and continued his journey. The experience changed his life. He researched afterlife literature, prayed for guidance, and wrote a book called 'The Miracle of Afterlife' to share knowledge about spiritual realms and help grieving people understand life after death.
This NDE features subjective visions of otherworldly realms (tunnel, white realm, flower field) with no claims of veridical perceptions of physical events during unconsciousness. Despite apparent deep unconsciousness confirmed by witnesses and prompt reporting to passengers, the complete absence of specific, verifiable details limits evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
