The Story
The person was a 19-year-old university student. The NDE occurred after a head-on car accident during a rainy night drive back to university, caused by aquaplaning on flooded roads. She fell asleep in the back seat and woke briefly to screams before losing consciousness. During the NDE, she first saw a woman stroking her and saying it would be okay. Then she left her body and watched rescuers and flatmates from above. She observed her own bandaged body in the ambulance with a light glow around it and felt light and peaceful. She heard ambulance staff discuss driving carefully due to injuries. She returned to her body to correct a misspelling of her name so parents could be contacted. She left again and watched the journey to the hospital. In the emergency room, she saw surgeons treat her bleeding head injury and chose to return to her body. After the NDE, she suffered a severe head injury and lost short- and medium-term memory. She left university and lived with her parents. Over two years, she rehabilitated herself and regained an excellent memory. She learned the power of mindset and human potential. These lessons built her confidence and shaped her business, where she teaches others to overcome fear and grow.
“a very light glow around my body I felt lighter um I felt like I wasn't a whole”
The account features a strong veridical element with the experiencer accurately correcting her name spelling (L-E-A vs. L-E-E) and providing her parents' location while unconscious, astonishing the nurse; supported by detailed OBE perceptions of conversations and events during severe blood loss and unconsciousness. Limited by lack of documented pre-verification reporting and mostly self-reported confirmations.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
