Michelle Ledbetter, a registered hospice nurse, experienced a near-death event after a car accident in a snowstorm on February 13, 2019. Driving from Montana to Texas, she missed a pass, crashed, and suffered an L1 burst fracture and traumatic closed head injury. The NDE occurred during surgery the next morning over a five-day period.
