The Story
Elizabeth Crosby had a near-death experience around 1999-2000. She was depressed from church trauma and a dangerous lifestyle. At a party, she drank a liter of vodka and snorted half to most of a bottle of Xanax in a suicide attempt. She heard a voice warn her she would die but proceeded. She lost consciousness and entered a tunnel, feeling she was going home. She met a giant ball of white light that asked if she was sure. The light showed her future memories: how her family would remember her and her brother's future house, family, and responsible life. It then showed her past as an exotic dancer from the audience's view, appearing thin, frail, and sick. Scared of hell, she wanted to repent. God laughed and said to hold on. She feared failing repentance, but God said it was not about perfection, just trying. She felt an attached entity hissing at God, and the light sent her back. She woke disoriented and tried to ignore it. Life felt off; old behaviors did not fit. Pregnancy confirmed the NDE's reality. In 2020, she read the Bible, got saved, quit alcohol and drugs with God's help, embraced unconditional love, and now shares her faith to help others.
“H and I I felt like I felt like a light grumbly but he went and help right there”
The NDE features specific precognitive visions of the experiencer's brother's future house, decoration, spouse's family, and personal growth, later verified by observation, providing strong evidential weight against hallucination. However, there are no claims of veridical perceptions from impossible sensory vantage points like out-of-body medical details, and the account was publicly reported long after verifications occurred.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
