The Story
Philip Royce experienced a near-death experience after drowning in his shower due to food poisoning. He felt weak and sick for days before he fell and lost consciousness in the shower. During the NDE, he found himself in a strange room with other people who had also died. He saw two beings who told him to return to his body. He then felt a rush of energy and returned to consciousness in the shower. After the experience, he no longer feared death and felt a shift in his priorities. He became more spiritual and lost interest in material pursuits and career ambitions.
