The Story
Sharon, also known as Ananda Kumara, experienced two near-death experiences. The first occurred at age nine in Oregon due to physical abuse by a distant family member who hit her under the ribs in a grape orchard. The second happened in 2001 in Texas when she fell from a shuttle bus after inner tubing on the Guadalupe River, landing on the trailer hitch and having a wheel run over her head. In the first NDE, Sharon left her body and floated in a peaceful void, feeling connected to everything. She met Jesus on solid ground. He called her his child and offered her to stay, but she chose to return to complete her mission, fearing she would have to start over. In the second NDE, Sharon floated above her body, watching the scene without pain or attachment. She thought of loved ones. Her stepfather appeared and urged her to return. A portal showed ancestors on both sides. Jesus emerged from a bright light, embraced her, and took her hand. They journeyed through the cosmos to a water planet where she became aware of her life as a mer being, reuniting with her family there in a healing swim. After the NDEs, Sharon intensified her spiritual work with Jesus. She remembered that God is love, and humans exist to express and remember that love. This guided her to fulfill her life's mission.
“and I knew that I needed to go back into that job finish my mission finish what I”
The NDE features a brief out-of-body experience during a traumatic accident with moderate claims of observing the scene from above, partially verified later by friends, but lacks deep clinical death indicators, specific unpredictable details, strong verification processes, or prompt pre-verification reporting. Spiritual elements dominate without evidential veridical perceptions.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
