The Story
Rob, a licensed clinical therapist and Vietnam veteran, experienced his near-death event on January 2, 1991, in California. A box truck hit his car head-on as he turned into his fiancée's driveway. During the NDE, Rob left his body and rose about 200 feet above the crash site. He observed the scene without panic and found it fascinating. He saw a palm tree trunk in vivid green and red colors, despite being color blind. He received a clear message that all children are from the divine origin. He spotted a golden light high above and felt drawn to it. Then he returned to his body, bleeding but painless. After the NDE, Rob shifted his career to social work, earned a master's degree, and worked as a therapist in a maximum security prison. He became an interfaith minister and gained deeper empathy and a sense of humor. He now sees life as training for the afterlife and plans to work in hospice care.
