Reverend Bill McDonald was an 8-year-old boy who suffered a near-death experience due to severe illness. He contracted mumps, which led to double pneumonia, kidney failure, Reye's disease, and other complications that filled his lungs and stopped his breathing. During the NDE, he floated above his body in a dark room that filled with white clouds. He felt light and detached, then enveloped in loving, hugging energy like from many grandmothers. A panorama unfolded showing his future 50 years: meeting his wife, having children, serving in the Vietnam War on a helicopter, witnessing JFK's assassination, buying houses, and holding jobs. He saw numbers 29.59 and felt no fear, only comfort. After the NDE, McDonald spent a year in isolation at the hospital, which distanced him from his abusive family and sparked inward reflection. He adopted a healthy vegetarian lifestyle at age 9 to extend his life. The vision created deja vu throughout his life. He retired from government work after 21 years to become a motivational speaker on forgiveness and love, founded ministries for PTSD veterans and their families, encouraged writing for healing, and helped prisoners and first responders.
