The Story
David was a chief engineer and commercial diver on a research vessel. In 1983, a violent storm off California capsized his Zodiac boat, causing him to drown. He left his body and entered absolute darkness, feeling a greater presence and comfort. He moved toward a burst of light composed of millions of swirling light fragments. Three light beings welcomed him home with waves of love. A dozen more joined as his soul family, and they entered a spherical area. They relived his life chronologically from multiple perspectives, including future events. He saw how loving actions created greater positive ripples. The unified light told him it was not his time and he had a purpose, so he returned to his body. After the NDE, David saw auras and adopted acceptance, tolerance, and truth. He quit diving, survived advanced lung cancer, and became a spiritual counselor and life coach, helping NDE experiencers.
“i saw this light and i felt like i was moving toward it it wasn't a tunnel or”
The account describes a detailed NDE during drowning with an OBE vantage point observing personal body injuries and a precognitive vision of future cancer that precisely matched later diagnosis, but lacks independent corroboration, specific verification attempts, or unpredictable external details witnessed by others.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
