Jacob Cooper was a 3-year-old boy who had a near-death experience in September 1993. He contracted pertussis, or whooping cough, and suffocated at the top of a slide in a park due to oxygen deprivation. During the experience, he left his body and watched it from above. He felt his body shut down, including his brain snapping in half after a period of eternal suffering. He entered a tunnel, soared toward a bright light, and felt endless euphoria in a divine presence he called God. He connected to a bronze field of Christ consciousness that comforted him. Two spiritual guides appeared beside him. He saw his body slide down and tried to communicate with people below but failed. He observed angels and energy fields around others. His spirit family showed him past lifetimes, including one where he committed suicide, and a future of speaking to audiences. He chose to return to bring heavenly awareness to earth. After waking in the hospital, he kept the experience secret for nearly 20 years. Reading a book on NDEs helped him understand it. He became a clinical social worker, Reiki master, hypnotherapist specializing in past life regression, and author of 'Life After Breath.' He now leads seminars on spiritual awareness.
