Already Within You: Janice Callahan's Near-death Experience
What Researchers Found
The Story
Janice Callahan, a woman struggling with long-term addiction, had her near-death experience on October 5, 2018. She ingested a contaminated stimulant that caused her body to shut down, feeling her throat constrict and heart stop. Her spirit left her body and floated above it. She then appeared in a beautiful ethereal room with three tall beings, but she rejected their hand. An enormous presence filled her with intense love, which she identified as God the Father. She thanked Jesus and pleaded to return for her children. They moved to a platform overlooking millions of people, where God told her to love them and speak the truth. She asked what to change, and God said nothing, as she was being transformed with knowledge already inside her. She merged into God's spirit, seeing unity and her translucent hand, understanding God's intimate involvement in life. She returned to her body, feeling an internal fire and speaking another language. After the NDE, Janice changed completely. She lost desires for addictions, certain music, movies, and resolved questions about sexual identity. She gained joy, peace, and deep biblical understanding. She left her corporate job to serve others, now working with a ministry to rescue women from sex trafficking and help with addiction recovery.
“much joy and love and peace like from that I had ever been looking for I had”
