I SAW my pre-birth plan; SHOCKED at all my BAD Choices!

The Story
Jim Bruton was an aircraft builder who experienced a near-death event on October 6, 2016. During the second test flight of his experimental 1933 French airplane reproduction, the engine failed. He crashed into trees near a Boy Scout camp lake at 70 miles per hour, breaking ribs, rupturing lungs, twisting his leg, and injuring his back and chin. Rescuers airlifted him to a trauma center, where doctors intubated him and induced a coma for surgeries. In the coma, Bruton entered a gray, post-apocalyptic cityscape under dark clouds. He saw an egg-shaped lattice with sector gears showing future probabilities of his thoughts, words, and actions. A guiding voice explained it as the future birthing into now. He felt pain from bad choices and removed those gears, resetting his destiny. The voice taught about the in-between, grace, unintended consequences, and focusing on relationships. After the coma, Bruton quit drinking with the voice's help and wrote two books on his experience and letting go. He became more spiritual, emphasized surrender to divine whimsy, but his marriage ended amid post-NDE changes.
“never seen one of these gears in my life had never you know for all the gears”
This NDE features a profound internal visionary experience during a medically induced coma following severe trauma, but contains no claims of veridical perceptions of real-world events, people, or conversations that occurred during unconsciousness. The lack of any specific, verifiable details from the physical environment or medical procedures eliminates evidential strength across most criteria.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
