The Case of Ronald Reagan: A True Story

The Story
Ronnie was a drug addict and criminal in 1972. He got into a fight outside a market with his six-year-old son present. A man stabbed him with a broken bottle, severing arteries in his arm. He bled heavily and nearly died on the way to the hospital in an ambulance. In the ambulance, a paramedic told him he needed Jesus. Ronnie cursed at first. Then the ambulance filled with smoke and flames. He moved through a smoky tunnel. He heard screams and saw a fiery pit like a volcano. People burned inside but did not burn up. He recognized friends who died from robberies, drunk driving, and drug overdoses. They called his name and warned him not to come there. He felt deep loneliness, depression, heat, and smelled sulfur. Then he blacked out. He woke in the hospital with his arm saved by stitches. He told his wife about the terrible place. He could not forget it or drown it out with drugs or alcohol. Months later, his wife became a Christian. He went to church and heard about Jesus as the Lamb of God. This reminded him of his childhood lamb killed by his father. He prayed for God to kill or cure him. He accepted Jesus, lost his addictions instantly, and felt guilt and anger leave. He now shares his story to warn others about hell and tell of Jesus' hope.

While the experiencer was in a severe medical crisis with deep unconsciousness and promptly reported the experience to his wife with specific details of recognizing deceased acquaintances in a hellish realm, there are no claims of impossible physical sensory access or any verified perceptions, limiting evidential strength for veridical elements.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
