The Story
A 25-year-old woman experienced a near-death event after hemorrhaging and bleeding to death following the natural birth of her second child. She felt lightheaded and stuck to sticky sheets, then a cold tingling and lights in her vision. Nurses called a code blue as she had no pulse and couldn't breathe. She popped out of her body through the crown of her head and floated above it, feeling curious but unattached. She traveled out of the hospital into the night sky at the speed of thought, seeing Earth as a beautiful jewel. A life review showed her incompletions, paths not taken, and angels who helped her. She entered a tunnel to a bright, alive light and saw her deceased father healed, along with her ancestors. She met Jesus and began transforming into golden light, but a voice reminded her of her children. She saw their potential lives without her and chose to return. Back in her body, she felt pain from cold blood transfusion and left again to a council of 24 teachers who taught her wisdom. Her baby's cry brought her fully back. After the NDE, she pursued a life of service and healing, gained knowing of her role as the living hope of ancestors, and appreciated the preciousness of human life for manifesting love.
“the love i felt from god was still with me and i tell you i loved everybody i”
The primary NDE features an OBE during clinical death (no pulse, code blue), providing moderate access impossibility from a ceiling vantage point. However, perceptions are vague and predictable (nurses/doctors rushing in, commotion), with no verification attempts, confirmed details, or timely reporting mentioned. The second NDE lacks any veridical perception claims.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
