The Story
Kathy Mason experienced a near-death event about 20 years ago during a spiritual class called Wizards in the Avatar program. The trigger was a guided process named the Ultimate Ultimate, where her partner erased everything in the universe except her, causing her to leave her body. During the experience, she saw the energy of God as a flowing river with fire-like colors of yellow, orange, red, and white. She viewed herself as a white tributary stream, like a giant spotlight. She looked down and saw her body from above, appearing as a small ant in the light. She realized the body was just a vessel for her soul, not her entire essence. Upon returning, she said, 'Oh, okay, I can use this one this time.' After the event, it disoriented her deeply. She still thinks about it daily and pursues a path to hold more of that light in her body to illuminate and help others. This shifted her focus to soul missions and spiritual growth.

This account describes an out-of-body experience during a spiritual workshop process, featuring vague spiritual visions and a generic overhead view of her own body, but lacks any specific, verifiable, or unpredictable perceptual details from the physical environment. No verification attempts or confirmations are mentioned, and the experience occurred under non-medical altered consciousness without clinical crisis. Overall evidential strength is low due to absence of veridical elements and reliance on subjective internal imagery.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
