"I Have Foreseen the Death of my Mother" | An Interview with Jennifer Nejo
What Researchers Found
The Story
Miss Nejo, a 15-year-old girl, had a near-death experience after ingesting poisonous Jimsonweed seeds with a friend during summer holidays. The poison caused severe symptoms like a racing heart, shortness of breath, burning skin, and hallucinations, making her feel like she was dying. During the experience, she first saw terrifying hallucinations, then entered a nightmare state for hours. She woke disoriented and followed a vision of her friend to a forest. There, she encountered visions of friends and forest beings. A higher realm opened with tall light beings glowing white and violet. They communicated telepathically that she was protected, reality is part of a bigger whole, fear is unnecessary, the universe is interconnected, thoughts matter, and everything is love. She felt infinite love. Her grandmother's glowing vision guided her home through the city, where she heard people's thoughts and gave a ring to a stranger. At home, she saw her mother as dying from neck cancer, which later happened. She was taken to the hospital for treatment. After the experience, Nejo shifted from atheism to secret spirituality. She lived fearlessly and trustingly. Sixteen years later, her mother's death matched the vision, confirming multidimensional time. She lost fear of death, gained interest in NDEs, and feels ongoing protection and connection.
“the doorbell and my mother opened the door and from then on, everything went wrong. Within a second my mother noticed that something's wrong with me.”
Exceptional precognitive specificity in predicting mother's rare throat cancer with tracheotomy and concurrent dog death, reported immediately to family and corroborated 16 years later; however, lacks claims of impossible sensory access to contemporaneous events, as perceptions were visionary/hallucinatory rather than veridical observation.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Was this Evidence Strength score useful?
Was this Experience Depth score useful?
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Was this Life Impact score useful?
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
