The Story
David Oxford was a 19-year-old gang member who caused his NDE through a fatal overdose of crack cocaine in 1979. During the experience, he left his body, heard his heart stop, and panicked. He prayed and met his guardian angel Bob, who appeared as energy forming a human shape. They traveled to Egypt to see pyramids as energy transmitters, over the Pacific Ocean and US cities to view auras and lost souls. From space, David saw Earth's aura and learned it is called Gaia and needs better care. They visited other planets with souls learning themes like emotions. He approached a spinning portal, met Jesus in white light who urged people to love one another, and heard planetary sounds. In an afterlife realm, he met souls, underwent a life review with a council showing his daddy issues and negative actions, and chose to return. After the NDE, David struggled with bipolar disorder and alcoholism but got treatment and stayed sober since 2012. He married, raised four children including an autistic son, and began sharing his story through writings and talks to help others.

The account features a severe drug overdose with reported cardiac arrest, providing strong medical context, and immediate reporting to friends. However, veridical perception claims are minimal, consisting mainly of an OBE view of one's own body and unverified cosmic visions, with self-reported accurate predictions of future life events lacking independent corroboration of specific hidden physical details.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
