Jeffrey Couture: Forgiven from Hell

The Story
Father Jeffrey Couture, then a 19-year-old atheist involved in drugs, had a near-death experience in Fort Lauderdale due to complications from selling his blood while using drugs. He awoke dead in a dark place illuminated by heaven's light on a hill. He felt God's presence and realized his parents were right about God. In a purgatory-like state, he saw millions of souls near heaven's east gate, watched angels enter and exit, and viewed Earth as a globe spanning all time in a timeless realm. His guardian angel, a tall warrior, reviewed his sinful choices, showing their harm to himself and others. The angel stated he was destined for hell, which he accepted. Jesus appeared, forgave him with purifying fire, filling him with love. He returned to his body. After the NDE, he cut ties with friends, moved to Colorado, read scripture, confessed sins, and pursued priesthood, viewing earthly concerns as insignificant.

The narrative focuses on spiritual encounters rather than earthly impossibilities.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
