Victor Hicks: Crystal Stairway to Heaven
What Researchers Found
The Story
Victor Hicks was a deputy sheriff struggling with chronic depression, financial debts, and personal losses including divorces and his brother's murder. He caused his second NDE by overdosing on Darvon pills in a suicide attempt at home. His son found him, called 911, and paramedics rushed him to St. Luke's Hospital. During the NDE, Hicks saw a bright light brighter than 10,000 suns that was pure light and love. The light told him, 'I have no condemnation for you.' He entered the light and became one with it, feeling at home and not wanting to leave. The light said, 'Your life is not yours to take.' Then the light turned into thick liquid that poured into him from his head to toes, healing him. He woke up in the hospital. After the NDE, Hicks lost his depression and dark cloud. He became more compassionate, reconciled with his ex-wives as friends, and shifted from religious practices to focusing on God's love. His IRS debt was reduced by 90%.
