Demons from Addictions had me in Bondage Until I did This - Morgan's Testimony
What Researchers Found
The Story
Morgan was a 7-day-old infant when she stopped breathing and turned blue, causing a near-death experience. Her family called an ambulance after she appeared lifeless. Her grandmother arrived first, picked her up, and prayed in tongues over her. By the time the ambulance reached them, Morgan was breathing normally and healthy again. After this event, Morgan believed she returned more connected to the spiritual realm. She felt others' emotions intensely, sensed lies and true intentions, and knew God existed from a young age. This sensitivity led to bullying, depression, and addictions in her teens and twenties, including cocaine and eating disorders. She faced demonic oppression after losing a job but overcame it through repentance and prayer, gaining a strong relationship with Jesus. Now sober for five years, she works on a farm and maintains heightened spiritual awareness.
“knew that God was real I I knew that and I didn't know how I knew any of this”
No veridical perceptions are reported during the purported infant near-death event (cyanosis and apnea); the account is second-hand from the mother with no details of impossible perceptions, only later-attributed spiritual sensitivities. Other experiences involve conscious demonic oppression, not NDE veridical claims.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
