The Story
The person, a man living in eastern England, had a near-death experience in 2006 from a train accident. His coat caught in train doors at a Cambridgeshire station, dragging him under the wheels and causing severe injuries. Paramedics took him to the hospital, where he lost much blood during treatment. He left his body gently and found himself on a large rock in a peaceful place. He saw pulsating colorful orbs around him. A radiant being with white blonde hair stood at his feet. Two women appeared and healed his physical injuries and lifelong emotional traumas, revealing his pure soul. He looked over the rock and saw a massive waterfall of stars, galaxies, and nebulae. A tunnel of intense white light with circulating flames approached, which he knew was God. Love filled him, and he returned to his body. In the hospital, he glowed with love and helped others. He began painting his experience to share it. He left manual labor jobs for a career in art and music. His paintings exhibit widely, including at the Museum of the Bible. He now focuses on telling others about his insights to change lives.
“know it's like I felt liberated I felt free for the first time in my life and”
This NDE features no veridical perceptions of the physical world during the experience, consisting entirely of subjective spiritual visions such as healing beings, cosmic vistas, and a tunnel of light. Despite severe trauma from a train accident prompting medical intervention, the absence of any specific, verifiable observations from an impossible vantage point limits evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
