The Story
Philip Dong was a 12-year-old paperboy in Michigan on April 3, 1970. A Jeep hit him while he rode his bike, dragging him 50 yards. He left his crumpled body and went to a white light filled with love and peace. In a three-day coma, he entered the spiritual realm. Archangel Michael gave him a tour of the universe and showed how Earth's civilizations, like Atlantis, Egypt, Incans, Mayans, Indians, and Chinese, developed through love. He heard human thoughts broadcasting into the universe, with more negative than positive ones. He woke up and saw the divine feminine, whom he knew as Mother Mary, put him back in his body. He asked, 'Am I in heaven?' The NDE amplified his childhood mediumship gifts, which his Catholic upbringing had suppressed. He left his telecommunications career to become a medium, healer, and teacher of metaphysics and Spiritualism. He now focuses on service work, spiritual counseling, and promoting love, harmony, and the Golden Rule to help humanity.
“experience it was just love and peace of loving uh what and I was in a coma for”
The NDE features a brief out-of-body view of the experiencer's own crumpled body immediately after the accident, but lacks any specific, verifiable details, attempts at verification, or corroborated perceptions of medical procedures or events. Spiritual visions dominate without evidential claims.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
