The Story
Ms. Schulenburg experienced a near-death experience at age 16 or 17 during ongoing sexual abuse by her father. He placed a plastic bag over her head and strangled her, causing her to faint. She left her body and viewed the scene from above, seeing her lifeless form and her father as a dark entity. She walked through a painful grey tunnel toward a golden, loving light that felt like home. A benevolent being communicated nonverbally, showing her past traumas, a future of continued hardship followed by healing with a supportive person, and her mission to positively impact many lives. She chose to return with strength from supporting beings and re-entered her body. After the NDE, the abuse persisted, but she later sought help abroad, met a healer, and transformed her life. She became a life coach, practitioner, lecturer, author, and institute founder, helping trauma survivors and turning her pain into a mission of empowerment.
