The Story
Ellen Wear was a 12-year-old girl who loved riding horses. Her near-death experience happened when she fell off a horse during a lesson because the saddle slipped. The horse kicked her in the temple, and she went into a coma for a week in the hospital. During the NDE, Ellen found herself on a raft feeling calm and loved, with Jesus as her guide in front and Buddha on her left. She was pulled into a beautiful golden light that made her feel at home, full of love, peace, and joy. Back on the raft, Jesus asked if she wanted to stay in heaven or return to Earth. She wanted to stay but saw that her father and brothers' lives would change if she did not return. She chose to come back to heal people with music and received insights about life's purpose. Then, in darkness, colorful music notes approached and passed through her head, and she heard music that pulled her back to her body. She woke up in the ICU. After the NDE, Ellen became a music therapist and counselor. She attended Naropa University to learn meditation and music therapy. She now helps people connect to their higher selves and heaven on Earth through music. She gained gifts like seeing auras, receiving messages from the other side, and clearing energy blocks. Her life focuses on sharing messages of love, purpose, and creating reality through positive thoughts.
“Golden Light was so beautiful and I felt like I felt like I had come home and it”
This NDE features a week-long coma (high medical severity) but lacks any veridical perception claims of the physical world, such as observing medical staff, conversations, or events impossible to perceive normally. The experience is entirely visionary and spiritual (Jesus, Buddha, light, messages), with no verification attempts or confirmed details.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
