The Story
Lennard Rogers was a three-year-old boy when a car hit him, causing his near-death experience. He heard an audible voice tell him to let go as he tried to move. A woman on the other side of the street called him telepathically to come to her. A light appeared near his right shoulder and drew closer. Familiar scenes around him felt like memories he had forgotten. Images of his future life, including one at age 11 with siblings, flashed by in a life review. He entered a tunnel and saw others doing the same. To his right, he felt ashamed to look at Jesus. A door stood ahead, but he did not want to enter it. A huge eye in darkness scared him until a gentle breeze removed his fear. He held the woman's hand and conversed with Jesus, who knew all about him. Jesus chuckled at his first reason to return and asked for the real one. Rogers said he wanted to make the world better. He sped back, reentered his body through a tunnel with chimes, and heard 'Always' when asking if he would return. Back in his body, he cried for the first time when his worried mother held him. After the NDE, Rogers pursued consciousness research to foster well-being and improve the world.
“my right I I felt as if everything that I had just saw in the Life review that”
The NDE features a brief out-of-body experience viewing one's own body post-accident, but lacks specific, verifiable details, any attempt at verification, or corroborated perceptions. Medical severity is moderate trauma without clinical death indicators, and all claims are reported decades later without prior documentation.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
