The Case of Betty Eadie ~ A True Story

The Story
The person was a woman in a hospital for a hysterectomy in 1973. She hemorrhaged after surgery and died in her room that evening when nurses were absent. During the NDE, she felt her body closing in with a strange chest sensation, then a pop pulled her out to the ceiling. She looked down at her body and realized she was dead. She thought of her husband and children, then traveled through the window to her home. There, she saw her husband reading the newspaper with feet up and her kids playing on the stairs at quarter to ten. She noted he did not put them to bed as promised. She stayed fully conscious, able to hear and sense thoughts. Next, she reached a beautiful garden with a mirror-like pond reflecting life. She saw her spirit's reflection and thought its beauty could change the world. After the NDE, she found it hard to live a mundane life and entered depression. She overcame it over time and began following her heart. Recalling the experience brings feelings of tremendous love and beauty.
The account shows moderate medical severity with post-surgical hemorrhage leading to unconsciousness, impossible perceptual access via remote viewing of home scene, specific details of family activities, and some unpredictability in the unexpected family behavior. However, evidential strength is limited by complete absence of any reported verification attempts, confirmed perceptions, or details on reporting timing.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
