He experienced severe chest pain while gardening, heard a voice from God telling him he would die but had things to do, and then lost consciousness. In darkness, he felt fear and called out for help, leading to an angel lifting him to a cloudy environment with other angels. He felt overwhelming love and was given a choice to stay in paradise or return to his life. He chose to return for his children and felt a sense of responsibility. After the experience, he gained a new understanding of God's sovereignty and free will, feeling a renewed purpose in his life.
