Straight to Heaven : A Message from the Angels (NDE)

The Story
Lorna Byrne, an Irish woman, experienced her NDE during surgery for severe stomach problems. Angels had warned her since childhood about her condition, leading her to seek medical help. The surgeon removed her entire large intestine and much of her small intestine, causing her to die clinically for 10 minutes. During the NDE, she left her body and went straight to heaven. She felt no pain and saw her soul as a spark of light from God. She met her deceased father, who appeared young in his 20s wearing a fishing hat with flies. She hugged him, feeling their souls connect. Angels guided her like on a treadmill to God, who told her to return because she had much to do and must stop hiding from him. She returned reluctantly. After the NDE, Lorna recovered in intensive care for nearly two weeks without brain damage. Despite lifelong dyslexia, angels guided her to write books like 'Angels in My Hair,' give talks, and start a sanctuary in Ireland that grows and distributes food to the poor and shelters. She now shares messages of love, prayer, and hope to help others.
“comes to go home to heaven to believe it was like as if I was on a treadmill”
The account describes a classic NDE with departure to heaven but contains no veridical perceptions of earthly events, only vague mentions of seeing nurses and doctors around the body without specifics or verification. Medical severity is high, but absence of impossible access, detailed observations, or corroboration limits evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
