The Story
Sabine was a self-employed physiotherapist and mother of three. In May 1995, a severe flu worsened into high fever, weight loss, skin hemorrhages, and severe pain, leading to hospitalization. On September 14, 1995, during an ultrasound that revealed bladder and bowel paralysis, she had her NDE. She left her body suddenly from the top of her head and viewed it from above, feeling no pain and more alive. She entered a beautiful, non-dazzling light unlike any on Earth and merged with it, experiencing deep love and freedom. She reviewed her life in a rapid biographical film, reliving events with her own and others' emotions, achieving reconciliation and understanding. She returned to her body abruptly, feeling its pains again. Later diagnosed with aggressive T-cell lymphoma, she underwent chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, surviving the cancer. The NDE ended her fear of death, increased her gratitude for life, reduced her fear of living, and led her to write a book, share her story publicly, and advocate for open discussions on near-death experiences.
