The Story
Don Hose, an author, had two near-death experiences. The first occurred when he was 10 years old in Baltimore. He fell through ice on a pond in mid-winter, causing near-drowning. During this, he felt light like cotton, saw a bright pink light with white and blue hues, and became warm despite the cold water. He does not recall how he escaped but went home to warm up. The second happened in his early 20s during a car accident on a slippery fall road. His car spun out, hit the car ahead at 40-45 mph, and was rear-ended, slamming his head into the windshield. He heard the impact, wiped blood from his forehead, entered a radiant white light, felt a floating sensation, and heard an inner guide assure him he would be okay. In the ambulance, his cuts on knee and forehead vanished by the hospital. He experienced deep peace, love, and compassion. After these events, Hose began daily meditation focused on the third eye, achieving similar lights and feelings of peace. He wrote the book 'A Higher Consciousness Through Meditation' in 2011, no longer seeks suffering, and nourishes his soul with light to promote inner peace and love.
“light um the amount of peace that I felt the amount of love that I felt I felt so”
This account features two NDEs involving internal subjective experiences of light, warmth, floating, peace, and love, plus anomalous healing, but lacks any claims of veridical perceptions of external events or details that could not be accessed through normal senses. Without specific, verifiable external observations, the evidential strength for veridical perception is minimal.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
