The Story
Sharon experienced a near-death event in 2001 while inner tubing on the Guadalupe River in Texas with friends. She fell out of a crowded bus, hit the trailer hitch and ground, and the trailer's wheel ran over her neck and head. During the NDE, Sharon left her body and watched the scene peacefully from above without pain. She saw her body on the hot road and a bus approaching. She thought about her friends' ruined day, her partner's sadness, her sister's family, and her elderly mom's needs. Her stepdad appeared and told her it was not her time because her mom needed her. She saw unwelcoming ancestors in a tunnel. A bright portal opened, and Christ emerged in a white robe, embraced her, and repeated it was not her time. They connected deeply, seeing the universe in each other's eyes and enveloping in unconditional love. Christ took her hand, and they journeyed through the cosmos to her blue-green home planet. She merged with the planet's consciousness, felt deep love for all beings, and reunited with her aquatic mermaid family. Christ agreed to walk with her if she returned. After the NDE, Sharon healed her feelings of unworthiness and debilitating anxiety. She gained a sense of constant support from Christ, realized divine love meets everyone where they are, and learned to ask for help. She now meditates to visit her otherworldly home.
“go back they'd have to pull me back back but I told him okay I'll go back to”
The account describes an OBE during severe physical trauma from a bus accident where a trailer wheel ran over the experiencer's neck and head, providing moderate medical severity and an impossible vantage point looking down on the scene. However, perceptions are vague (seeing body and approaching bus), entirely unverified with no attempts mentioned, and lack specificity, unpredictability, or temporal precedence, severely limiting evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
