Man DIES and MEETS a Light So Intelligent It Changed Everything (NDE)

The Story
Peter Panagor, a young man in 1980, suffered his first NDE from severe hypothermia during an ice climbing accident in western Canada. He lost consciousness on the mountain face. He awoke out of his body in velvety darkness. A radiant orb of intelligence approached and absorbed him. Inside it, he felt severed from his body and became light. He entered a vast space and realized his true oneness. A brilliant light drew him in, leading to a life review where he relived hurts he caused others and felt their pain. He saw all humanity as equal and beloved. He viewed past lives, the universe's structure, and ongoing creation of multiple universes. He saw his parents' lives with and without him, chose to return to ease their suffering, and selected a human level of light before reentering his body. After the NDE, his life changed completely. He abandoned architecture plans for mysticism studies, developed deep empathy, kept the experience secret for 20 years, and felt a daily longing to return home until a second NDE in 2015 brought peace.
“to me. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. And and I'm”
This NDE features deep unconsciousness from clinical death but lacks any specific, verifiable veridical perceptions, relying instead on internal visions, life reviews, and emotional insights into family members' states without external corroboration. No attempts to verify observed details are mentioned, and the account was kept secret for 20 years, limiting evidential value.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
