The Story
Kelly de Giacomo, a registered nurse, had a near-death experience at age two. She suffered from hepatitis that caused her liver to fail. Doctors told her parents she would die, but her mother prayed with Carmelite nuns. While held by her mother, Kelly stopped breathing and went limp. Kelly appeared in a bright white light, wearing only a diaper. She walked forward to two large white marble thrones. She saw Jesus, with light brown hair and beard in a white robe, and God the Father, larger with darker hair. Jesus told her she could not stay and sternly commanded her to go back, pointing to the right. She saw long lines of people approaching the thrones and sensed an angel nearby. Kelly revived, healed completely overnight with no yellow skin or swollen belly. She ate and played normally. As an adult, she connected the memory to her illness. She pursued nursing for over 30 years, gained gifts of empathy and discernment, and researched NDEs after hearing patient stories.
