Air Force Veteran Dies & Meets Jesus : Given the Power to Heal (NDE)
What Researchers Found
The Story
Chase Skyler Deo was a 19-year-old Air Force SERE instructor who injured his knees in training, leading to medical discharge. One morning, he was late for work and found unconscious in his dorm. At the hospital, a nurse accidentally caused an air embolism through his IV, leading to cardiac arrest and flatlining. During the NDE, Chase heard a calm voice to his left stroking his arm and assuring him everything would be okay despite the pain. He saw the monitor flatline and no one there. He left his body, feeling blissful love, and traveled upwards to a vibrant garden with unseen colors and plants. He saw his younger self playing happily with Jesus, who had short brown hair and green eyes. Jesus reminded him to spread light, love, and laughter, and not take life too seriously. Time stood still as they talked. Jesus told him to return, and Chase went back to his body in another hospital. After the NDE, Chase retired from the military and pursued joyful activities like breakdancing, comedy, photography, and dancing to share happiness. He later took a corporate job but felt unfulfilled. A yoga retreat renewed his purpose, enhancing his intuition and healing gifts, like feeling others' emotions and palm marks during prayer. He now focuses on learning, evolving, and promoting laughter to connect people.
“because I I felt like my life was caving body is no longer good enough you know”
The NDE includes a medically verified flatline and air embolism matching the experiencer's OBE perceptions of monitors and events in the room, providing moderate veridical elements. However, details are not highly precise or unpredictable, with no pre-verification reporting or exceptional corroborations, capping evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
