The Story
Randy Schieffer, a former homicide detective with PTSD from his father's death, suffered a severe COVID-19 infection in March 2020. This caused bilateral pneumonia, respiratory failure, and led to a medically induced coma, ventilator use, ECMO machine, and multiple organ failures. During his coma, Randy had four NDEs. First, he entered a tunnel to a golden hall where an older man told him to leave; he explored a magnificent city, got lost, climbed a white staircase, and was pulled back. Second, he tried another entry, got lost again, and was grabbed by a white-bearded man on the staircase. Third, he followed a little boy down a dirt path to a room with flowers and a stream; the boy said his room was not ready and sent him away. Fourth, in a void, a spirit guide led him to see his ignoring deceased relatives and a veteran grandfather who gave a message for Madison at a salon. After waking, Randy delivered the verified message to Madison. He lost his fear of death, gained belief in an afterlife, and began sharing his story and writing a book.
