Peter Panagore: Death is Just the Beginning

The Story
Reverend Peter Panagore, a preacher and author, had a near-death experience in 2015 from a heart attack during a yoga class. He felt extremely hot, lay down, then went outside where his heart hurt. He recognized the symptoms from his training as an ambulance attendant. Friends took him to urgent care, where doctors found 100% blockage in his widowmaker artery. In the ambulance, he meditated to manage pain. The paramedic reported they were losing him. Peter saw the angel of death welcoming him home with his soul name. He left his body and was lifted out by a being. He thought about his son who said 'I love you,' his homeless daughter, and new granddaughter. He turned away from the angel and chose to return for love. After the NDE, Peter helped his daughter and granddaughter move in for 18 months while she recovered and started graduate school. He stopped praying for death every day and now counsels veterans against suicide, urging them to stay for love despite suffering.
“home come home it's time to come home and i went back to my meditation and i”
No veridical perception claims are present; the experiencer describes sensory perceptions possible from within the body (hearing paramedic, briefly opening eyes) during a severe but conscious heart attack. Lacks out-of-body elements, impossible access, specific verifiable details, or prior verification, limiting evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
