The Story
Alan was a 21-year-old raised Catholic with little interest in spirituality. He crashed his moped into a tree, tearing tendons in his right hand. During surgery, an allergic reaction to anesthesia stopped his heart, causing him to die for seven minutes. He opened his eyes in a long marble corridor called the orientation center. His spirit guide, Alan, showed him tunnels that connect Earth to the afterlife. He watched an elderly man enter a tunnel after a heart attack. Counselors helped the man remember his true home, changing his appearance to a 30-year-old. The man then walked to beautiful gardens. Alan's guide left, and Jesus appeared in a white robe with light from his face. Jesus said, 'You must tell them there is no death.' Alan woke up in the hospital. After the NDE, Alan's spiritual views changed. He rejects much Christian dogma but loves Jesus and reads the New Testament. He shares his story to offer hope that death is not the end and loved ones wait in the afterlife.
“were supposed to fear God. And I never really I never really got that. So after I had my near death experience, my entire life”
This NDE features a severe medical crisis but contains no veridical perception claims of real-world events, only a heavenly tour with spirit guide and Jesus. Absent are any impossible vantage points, specific verifiable details, verifications, or timely documented reports of such perceptions, limiting evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
